PART ONE: Basic Personality/Life Before the Conclave

Appearance/Personality/Basic Facts
Name: Medjine Adaar
Age: 36
Race: Qunari (Tal-Vashoth)
Gender/preferred pronouns: Female (She/Her)
Class: Rogue
Preferred weapon/spell type: Longbow
Specialization: Assassin
Romance: Josephine Montilyet

Description:
Standing at 7.5ft, with deep auburn hair at mid-back length and hanging loose, some locced, some braided, some beaded at the ends. Sun freckles across her face and shoulders, a warm purplish tint to her skin, deep blue-violet eyes, with horns that curve back from her temples and small gold piercings in each ear. Her body is roped with muscle, particularly along her arms, back, shoulders and chest thanks to her archery training.

OPINIONS:
The Chantry: It has its place, but zealots and bigots will be ground under her heel.

Tevinter: Fuck that place, fuck its government, the good people it occasionally spits out are the exception that prove the rule.

Fereldan: It's too cold and it's too muddy but give her every single dog please.

Orlais: Fuck that place, fuck its government, nothing will stop her from storming through and righting all the wrongs.

Mages/Magic: Fuck the chantry for what it did to the mages, let her protect them as they establish proper circles and stop all that Harrowing shit. Her darling little brother is a mage and is so afraid of his own magic he almost opted to let himself be made tranquil and That Shit Will Not Stand.

Templars: They have their place, but if one tries to exercise their power over the mages in an abusive fashion they will be destroyed.

The Mage/Templar War: Understandable from both sides, but honestly do they have to involve her and her men? Can she not go for a walk without being attacked?

The Dalish and City Elves: Deeply unfortunate, the Dalish are very understandable in their motives and distrust. She'd love to learn more about them but understands such things are limited for her. City elves made up a portion of her company, and she cares deeply for them. And if she hears "knife ear", the tongue that spoke it will be fucking removed.

Dwarves: Pretty great, love the tech, please show me how to build things like you...

Qunari/Tal-Vashoth: Deeply distressing, the idea of willingly giving up ownership of herself. She can understand why some would, but personally she's glad that her Tamassran stole away with her and her brother. Some of her company are made of of other Vashoth/Tal-Vashoth, and she will not hear a word against them.

Humans: So small, so soft, not to be underestimated. Why must they have such complicated politics?

Favorite travel destination: The Hissing Wastes. There's so much room to stretch out in and you can see literally every star in the sky. It doesn't rain, it's nice and warm, and there are fewer places for enemies to hide. The view from the Sunstops is the best.

Least favorite: A tie between Eastern Orlais and the Fallow Mire. Fuck all the cold and wet and the zombies and the red templars.

Three words that best describe her:
Pragmatic- When making decisions, tends to weigh outcomes with the most favorable to the cause at the forefront of her mind, even if they're unfortunate or difficult.
Motherly - Prone to adopting and doting on everyone that she sees as deserving, which encompasses a great many situations. As she learned more about the myriad conflicts of the world around her, this only intensified.
Fierce - She will not hesitate to fight. Fear is not a thing that stops her, and injury only makes her angry. She is absolutely furious with Solas, and intends to hunt him down and show no mercy.

Life Before the Conclave
Combat skill pre-game: As the leader of a mercenary company, she came into the position with a good amount of training in both long and shortbows, though longbows are much easier for her to use without breaking. She also already had skill with knives, and was just starting to hone her lockpicking before coming into power. With the frequent combat and new resources at her disposal, she has only become more creative and deadly.

Family/Friends: Her Tamassran, her brother, and her sister, who still live in the Free Marches (though her brother intended to come to Skyhold with her eventually). Her company, the Hiserad, unfortunately scattered to the winds after the Conclave. Her heart breaks to be separated from them, and she can sometimes feel overwhelmed without their familiar presences.

Why were they sent to the Conclave?: Her merc company were hired last minute to act as crowd control if things got out of hand or someone decided that now would be the time to upset the powers that be.

PART TWO: Main Plot Reactions/Choices
The Wrath of Heaven/The Threat Remains

How does the Inquisitor react to the Anchor and the idea of closing the Breach?:Holy shit that's the worst thing that's ever happened to me, what is this, why does it hurt like this, why am I being ordered around by some Chantry flunky, can someone please just fucking explain- oh thank fuck hello Solas WHAT DO YOU MEAN I HAVE TO DO THIS MYSELF?

Mountain Pass or Soldiers: Mountains, Best to sneak, flank them, and eliminate any unseen threats.

How does the Inquisitor react to being called the Herald of Andraste?: Uh, no, and fuck you for pigeonholing me for your religious garbage.

Do they believe it themselves?: Nope. Her brother believes, but she has no faith in anything but the material.

How does the Inquisitor react to Chancellor Roderick’s presence and the threat of the Chantry?: FUCK ALL YOU GODBOTHERERS LEAVE ME OUT OF IT.

The Mages or the Templars?: Mages

In Hushed Whispers

How does the Inquisitor feel about mages and about recruiting them?: She believes them and their magic to be the key to stabilizing the Breach, if not closing it outright. She wants an equal partnership, and to give them a place within the Inquisition to help themselves, and the cause.

The idea of allying with Tevinter to gain the mages’ support?: Temporary, and the moment it's done and they've made their price clear, she can determine how to approach that.

Being thrown a year into the future?: Great, fucking great, temporal magic, why the fuck not. Let's just finish this so this only becomes a possible future and not the only future.

Ally or Conscript?: Ally. The idea of slavery in any form is abhorrent to her and that's what conscripting unwilling mages feels like, particularly when it comes to how other non-mages react.

What is the Inquisitor’s relationship with Fiona?: Endless sighing, but recognizes that Fiona is still loved and respected by the mages under her.

Champions of the Just

How does the Inquisitor feel about Templars and about recruiting them?: The Templars have their place and their uses. She does want to recruit at least some loyal Templars, to help protect her mages from eachother, and to protect the Inquisition from the Venatori.

Canon divergence: She managed to at least begin speaking with the Templars, and managed to recruit Ser Barris and some of his men to the cause before going to Redcliffe. It causes him a great deal of anguish to learn what happened in his absence.

In Your Heart Shall Burn
Saving the villagers: As many as possible. The only casualty was Seggrit, when the house collapsed on him while she was beating down the door to get to him.

Does the encounter with Corypheus change their opinion of being Herald?: No, It only gives her new focus and direction, and that much more determination to kill this thing that fancies itself a god and that mutilated her and now toys with her.

How do they react to Solas telling them the orb is elvhen?: Unsurprised. Elvhen magics are beyond what most can comprehend, including the elves themselves. Does question why Corypheus would have such a thing, but then again he's Tevinter, and Tevinter were worse to the elves than most. Of course they'd have elvhen relics.

How do they feel about being chosen for Inquisitor?: Fine, ok, I can deal with this, I've been in a leadership position for most of my life, why stop now?

Principle foundations for the Inquisition: Assist in stabilizing Thedas. Protect eachother, protect the innocent, protect the bystanders.

From the Ashes
How does the Inquisitor react to Hawke’s presence?: Oh, huh. Hi. Care to explain what you're doing here if you're not joining up?

Does the Inquisitor side with Varric or Cassandra during their fight?: Neither. They're bickering on even ground. Cassandra is being petty and selfish, Varric is being petty and selfish (though his argument holds more water because she sees you, Cassandra, trying to do the same thing to Hawke that you did to her.)

How well do they get along with Hawke?: Largely neutral. She understands why he took the positions he did and ultimately why he's staying on the sidelines.

Here Lies the Abyss
Who is the Warden contact? Stroud

How does the Inquisitor get along with them? She appreciates how professional he is and give shim the same respect he give sher.

How do they react to finding out the Wardens are being used by Corypheus? Unsurprised, rather disheartened. She didn't want to take in the order, but she didn't want them to be puppeted by him either. They don't deserve that.

How does the Inquisitor react to being in the Fade? Wow I hate it.

Do they ever believe the spirit is actually of Divine Justinia? No, more like something taking her form to be familiar and possibly a comfort. She thinks it's more likely to be a spirit of Compassion or something like it.

How do they react to the revelation regarding the Wardens’ involvement in the Conclave attack? Unsurprised, given that the Wardens basically disappeared. Why shouldn't they be involved if the only one she's found is Blackwall?

How do they react to learning it was the Divine behind them in the Fade? Again, unsurprised. Justinia died, and she was a very good person and would certainly have made the effort to try and help guide them.

Nightmare Demon's taunts: Oh poor dear sister, they're all alone and you're to blame. and other such digs about her family and her choice to travel far from home to help people that don't show any gratitude.

What is on the Inquisitor’s tombstone? Powerlessness or something equivalent

Who does the Inquisitor leave behind in the Fade? Hawke, because he demanded it and because she truly believes Stroud to be the man to help train and lead her army.

Exile the Wardens or have them fight with the Inquisition?: Fight alongside. She needs their expertise vs the darkspawn and their trust that she won't meddle in their affairs any more than she absolutely must.

Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts
What is their opinion on attending the ball in the first place? Do I have to dress up? I'd really prefer not to. Please just let me wear one of my nicer sets of armor. I don't trust this one bit. And stop gossiping about me you shitty fake french people.

Do the companions/advisors believe the Inquisitor will do well at the palace?: They trust her to be professional and to get it overwith as quickly as she'll be allowed, but don't trust that the Orlesian politicians will take her seriously or be able to get over the fact that the Herald of Andraste is a qunari of all things.

How does the Inquisitor actually fare? She fucking wows them. She hates it, but she plays the Great Game very well.

Fight or expose Grand Duchess Florianne? Fight and kill her.

Who does the Inquisitor support for Orlesian rule? Empress Celene. Let's not upset the balance of power here too badly, and have a big favor in her pocket for later.

What Pride Had Wrought
How does the Inquisitor get along with Morrigan? She appreciates her no-nonsense way of approaching the situation, while not particularly caring for the way she actually speaks, all teasing and sing-song. Just say exactly what you mean, lady. You're cute but you're not that cute.

The Pilgrim’s Path or fight? Pilgrim's Path. There's a proper way to do these things, after all, and she does enjoy a puzzle.

Ally with Abelas and the elven sentinels? Yes

Does the Inquisitor weaken Samson’s armor before fighting him? Yes. If she can exploit a weakness to destroy a madman, she most certainly will.

The Well of Sorrows? She believes it inappropriate for herself OR Morrigan to drink, but allowed Morrigan to, as she ostensibly knew more to begin with and was more mentally fortified.

Doom Upon All the World
How does the Inquisitor feel about facing Corypheus for the last time? She just wants it to be done and overwith. She hates him and what he is and what he does to people, andd believes that she can end it thanks to the power of friendship the massive amount of preparation she's done and the amount of help that she has.

Who becomes the next Divine? Cassandra, and she supports the decision, given Cassandra knew the Divine well and she needs Leliana at her side, with her particular brand of ruthlessness.

How do they react to Solas’ disappearance? She mourns, because honestly she was happy to listen and learn from someone that didn't seem to think it odd that she would pursue such knowledge, even with the occasionally rude commentary from him regarding her background.

What does the Inquisitor decide to do after Corypheus is defeated? Re-focus on that rebuilding and stabilizing goal from the very beginning.

PART THREE: Side quests/War Table

Sit In Judgment:

How does the Inquisitor generally judge prisoners? It very much depends on what they did to her/her people/those around them.

Specific judgments passed
Gereon Alexius: Recruited and set to research, with permission from Dorian
Florianne’s Remains: Return the trade routes to Celene and let her decide what to do with the actual physical box of Florianne.
Magister Livius Erimond: Remanded to the Wardens, as they were the wounded party.
Ser Ruth: Refused to judge a Warden, not believing it to be her place.
Captain Thom Rainer: Pardoned. She was onto you, beardy, but you're a good ally nonetheless.
Chief Movran the Under: Exiled to Tevinter to go be a pest on their borders.
Mayor Gregory Dedrick: Give him a clean death, to spare him from the reaction of the rest of Crestwood's villagers.
Mistress Poulin: Help in rebuilding her village

War Table
Force, Secrets, or Connections for War Table Operations? An even mix of all of them, as she knows that some things require a delicate hand and secrets behind closed doors, while others require an up front and intimidating presence.

Shards for the Temple of Pride? Yes. She loves puzzles and is terribly curious about the shards and the temple itself. The perks are nice too.

Astrariums? Yes. Puzzles, yo.

Side quests and recruiting agents? Yes and yes. More connections are good, and widespread influence in small places help in that protection and stability goal.

PART FOUR: Relationships/Companion Quests

General
Preferred party? N/A, tending to choose an evenly balanced party with different strengths depending upon what she knows about an upcoming mission, the enemies in the area, and information she has on caches/locks/treasures.

Which advisor is the Inquisitor closest to? Josephine

Who does the Inquisitor most often turn to for advice? Josephine

Who does the Inquisitor hang out with the most in their free time? Krem, or if he's out on a mission, Josephine.

Who would be the one the Inquisitor tells their deepest, darkest secrets to? Krem, since he's given her that level of trust.

Leliana:
First impression? You. I like you. Stop rubbing your faith on things and I'd like you more.

Does that change over time? Largely the same throughout, though she does mourn for Leliana's loss upon learning of the Warden's relationship with her and then her death.

What does Leliana think of the Inquisitor? Does this change? Loud squinting but they give eachother wide berths.

Does the Inquisitor help Leliana find the Divine’s last message for her in Val Royeaux? Yes

Do they “soften” Leliana? Confirm her hardness. As unfortunate as it is, sometimes you need to change to survive.

Cullen
First impression? I like you. Keep up with the straight talk and we'll get along fine. Also that cloak looks warm, I want one.

Does that change over time? Not really, though she does bear witness to and support him through his lyrium withdrawal, offering her help should he ever need it.

What does Cullen think of the Inquisitor? He has a largely positive opinion of her, though they never get particularly close. He is supportive of her efforts, and she of his.

Does the Inquisitor play the chess game with Cullen? Yes, as she appreciates a game and the easy conversation with him. They play fair, and it runs long.

Does the Inquisitor convince Cullen to stay off lyrium? Yes. She wants him to beat this as badly as he wants to beat it.

Does the Inquisitor assist Cullen in finding Samson’s base? Yes

Josephine
First impression? Lovely and frilly and intelligent and far too fancy for what the Inquisition is.

Does that change over time? No, it's only intensified over the time that they get to know eachother and Josephine proves endlessly patient with how unrefined she is.

What does Josephine think of the Inquisitor? Large and intimidating and very attractive, not that she would admit that, though she's definitely into it. She is frustrated with Medjine's lack of finesse at times, but is happy to offer advice when it comes to damage control and prevention.

Romance? Yes

What is it like? Medjine desperately wants to be someone that Josephine can trust and rely on and hold onto and be proud of, and tries very hard for her sake.

Does the Inquisitor talk to Josephine about her work? Yes, and takes interest in Josephine's work in turn.

Do they enjoy it? Yes, and they take the time to just talk often.

Does the Inquisitor help Josephine reinstate her family’s trade in Orlais? Yes, but they choose not to kill the agent from the House of Repose.

Do they decide to take Josephine’s route of nullifying the contract, or Leliana’s? Josephine's

Does the Inquisitor find Josephine an example of her old family crest? Yes

Does the Inquisitor duel Lord Otranto for Josephine’s affections? Yes

Do they confess their love to Josephine when she intervenes? Yes

Cassandra
First impression? FUCK YOU FUCK OFF LET ME GO

Does that change? Yes, as Cassandra opens up to her with her doubts and becomes more "human" their relationship improves and becomes friendly. They butt heads, but never really seriously.

What does Cassandra think of the Inquisitor? That she's too Much. She's just A Lot, and hard to control. But then she doesn't need to be controlled, she needs to be given a goal and the means to accomplish that goal.

Does the Inquisitor find out about Cassandra’s “guilty pleasure?” Yes, and convinces Varric to write more just for her, as a peace offering.

Help Cassandra track down hunt down criminals left unchecked by the Seekers’ absence? Yes, when made aware of their crimes.

Go with Cassandra to Caer Oswin to find the missing Seekers? Yes, and supports her idea to rebuild the Seekers from the ground up.

Does the Inquisitor support the idea of Cassandra being Divine? Yes

Varric
First impression? That's a really good crossbow, I want one.

Does that change over time? Wow you've got a lot of frivolous shit all up in the air and you really don't like being honest with anyone, do you? Come back when you want to have a conversation, boyo.

What does Varric think of the Inquisitor? Politely interested when she wants to talk, but really thinks she could stand to lighten up.

If Varric could give the Inquisitor a nickname, what would it be? Red, or Freckles

Red Lyrium? All destroyed with great prejudice where possible.

Does the Inquisitor help Varric and Bianca find the thaig inside Valammar? Yep

Does the Inquisitor blame Bianca for what happened? Not really. She had a hand in it but was ultimately a little cog in a big machine, to keep on theme.

Solas
First impression? Oh thank fuck someone that might know what's going on...

Does that change? No, but she very quickly realizes it's much bigger than he's letting on, and is frustrated when he won't give her all of the information, though she understands why, given she doesn't want to make any moves on incomplete information, herself. She appreciates his candor, and his willingness to answer when she asks pointed questions, even if they do get a touch snippy at eachother at times.

What does Solas think of the Inquisitor? Initially thinking her to be brutish in that whole racist view of the qunari thing, eventually finds her to be intelligent and thoughtful, and gradually opens up to her.

Does the Inquisitor help Solas find and activate elvhen artifacts? Yes

Does the Inquisitor help Solas rescue his friend in the Exalted Plains? Yes

Does the Inquisitor choose to destroy the summoning stones or fight the Pride Demon? Destroy the stones to free the spirit

Does the Inquisitor let Solas kill the mages or do they stop him? No, figuring that he would regret stooping to doing something hasty in his anger.

How would the Inquisitor react to finding out Solas is Fen’harel? Rage. She trusted him, she wanted to keep him nearby. She wanted to continue to help him in his research, but not to THIS end.

Does the Inquisitor choose to look for Solas after he disappears? Yes, with full intent to stop him, even if it has to be by force.

Sera
First impression? Wow child you sure are something. What's all this Red Jenny business and where can I sign up?

Does that change? Nope, still wants to be a Red Jenny.

What does Sera think of the Inquisitor? Very obviously has the hots for her, but doesn't care for how serious she always is.

Does the Inquisitor complete the Red Jenny War Table missions? Yep

Does the Inquisitor agree to send a presence to Verchiel? Yep

How does the Inquisitor deal with Lord Harmond? She let Sera kill him.

Vivienne
First impression? In Sera's words, Woof.

Does that change? Yes, as they become better acquainted and find that their ideas of how the mages should be treated are very similar.

What does Vivienne think of the Inquisitor? She seems to regard her highly, and appreciates their serious conversations. She opens up gradually as Medjine goes out of her way to assist with her side missions.

Does the Inquisitor help Vivienne look for the three tomes for the Circle of Magi? Yes

Does the Inquisitor agree to find Vivienne the heart of a Snowy Wyvern? Yes

Blackwall
First impression? You. I like you and your beard and your way with recruits. Let me hire you.

Does that change? Not really

What does Blackwall think of the Inquisitor? He appreciates her businesslike attitude and her intensity, and even seems to be looking at her romantically for a time, until she starts showing that she has feelings for Josephine.

Does the Inquisitor help Blackwall find Grey Warden information? Yes

How does the Inquisitor react to finding out Rainier’s true identity? Hurt and betrayed, but understands where he's coming from after a time.

Do they leave them in Val Royeaux or bring them back to Skyhold for judgment? He comes back, and she asks him to stay of his own volition, though she offers to supply him if he really wants to leave. She's relieved when he chooses to stick with the purpose he's found within the Inquisition, and they manage to stay friendly.

Dorian
First impression? Nice footwerk. Can I convince you to come work for me?

Does that change over time? No. She becomes more and more protective of him, and maybe coddles him a bit too much.

What does Dorian think of the Inquisitor? He thinks she's terribly intense and needs to lighten up, and give in to his flirtation. They have long, intellectual conversations and she very obviously enjoys it, positing that her brother would adore him.

Does the Inquisitor help Dorian find and track down Venatori? Yes

Does the Inquisitor learn that Dorian’s father wishes to speak with him? Yes

Do they tell Dorian about the letter or not? Yes, because he deserves to know.

Do they urge Dorian to reconcile with his father? She left it up to Dorian, and they decided to walk away without talking to Halward. As important as family is to her, she also realizes that someone should not be forced to sit and talk to the person that so badly traumatized them.

Cole
First impression? The fuck are you?

Does that change over time? Yes and by gods it's the saddest thing, please let me mother you young boy, you deserve so much better.......

What does Cole think of the Inquisitor? He seems to like how straightforward her thoughts are, and that she listens to him and takes the things he says at face value. She finds him spooky, but not particularly dangerous to herself or the Inquisition.

When Cole helps people, does the Inquisitor encourage spirit-like methods, or convince him there are different ways to help? Convinces him there are other ways to actively help, that will make him stick in peoples' minds and allow him to make friends.

Does the Inquisitor urge Cole to embrace his spirit nature, or learn to grow and become more human? Confrontation and growth.

Iron Bull
First impression? Fuck, finally someone that actually gets me.

Does that change over time? Not particularly.

What does Iron Bull think of the Inquisitor? He thinks she needs to lighten up a little, but they operate well together, share similar leading methods and opinions of the Inquisition and its people, and get along reasonably well as long as they don't talk too much about their personal upbringings.

Is the Inquisition approached by the Ben-Hassrath to secure a formal alliance? Yes

Does the Inquisitor sacrifice the dreadnaught and the alliance, or Bull’s Chargers? NEVER SACRIFICE THE CHARGERS. SHE WOULD SOONER THROW HERSELF ON HER BLADE.
